A MODERN EPIC MEETS AN ANCIENT WORLD
In an industry first, Paramount Pictured turned Piccadilly Lights to stone, transporting audiences back to AD 211 for the release of Gladiator II. At sunrise, Piccadilly Circus became a Roman arena, surrounding audiences with stone textures and artistry that reimagined Piccadilly Circus as ancient Rome. The creative idea was to tap into the nostalgia and scale of the original 2000 Gladiator film, while teasing fresh elements of the sequel through cinematic visuals and an unforgettable “stone takeover” campaign. A masterclass in cinematic spectacle that stopped the city in its tracks. The campaign was delivered in partnership with Samsung, Trainline, TK Maxx and LEGO.
